Showing multiple horses tied to a Rope Highline while feeding Hay. The more you do something with a horse the better they get at doing it. Repetition and habit teach good or bad lessons.
Horses can be tied on a highline so they move up and down or can be tied so they cannot move. These horses were all eating some hay while tied. As long as horses can move away from each other when pushed then they will be able to work out any pressure issues.
In this video one horse pushes and all other horses move away and give to pressure. Since the horses moved away, the horse that pushed did not have to actually kick, he only threatened to kick. Had the other horses not yielded to his threat, then he would have kicked. JUST LIKE PEOPLE SHOULD DO.
When you just threaten a horse all the time and never actually kick (hit or make the horse listen and carry out your threat) then the horse learns to ignore you threats and sees you as a lower horse, once this happen that is when a horse will threaten you and then it will carry out its threat by kicking or biting you. THEN you will be writing me asking how can you stop your horse from kicking and biting you. Then I will call you stupid for teaching it. When you allow a horse to do things you teach the horse it is OK to do those things. When you teach a horse to listen to you, a horse will listen you. A horse is only a mirror of you and what you do.
